Our family this year could use our help. It's a family of 4 and the father is waiting on heart and kidney transplants. He's been mostly in the hospital since before Thanksgiving, dealing with the complications of awaiting a transplant. He's in the hospital now, receiving IV medications for his heart pump. They have 2 young children, one of which is recovering from a lung infection and pneumonia and is trying to make up enough school work to stay with her class.
