U.N. Law of the Sea Treaty and the Costs of U.S. Membership

U.N. Law of the Sea Treaty and the Costs of U.S. Membership Implementation of Title IV of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery
Conservation and Management Re-authorization Act of 2006
Progress Report to the NOAA Assistant Administrator
For Fisheries
January 2008 Guess What? Title IV is also known as: The United Nations Agreement for the Implementation of the Provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. Magnuson-Stevens takes on a whole new meaning now! Compare Magnuson-Stevens to LOS; http://www.un.org/depts/los/convention_agreements/texts/fish_stocks_agreement/CONF164_37.htm We are now implementing this cost as President Obama ratified LOST without consent of the US Senate; making this treaty unconstitutional! Why is the Senate ignoring such? Have they been bought off? To many questions and no answers makes somebody a traitor in my book! ............................................................................................................................................................ Abstract: If the U.S. becomes a member of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, it will be required to transfer a large portion of the royalties generated on the U.S. extended continental shelf to the International Seabed Authority. These royalties may likely total tens or even hundreds of billions of dollars. The Authority may then distribute those funds to developing and landlocked nations, including some that are corrupt, undemocratic, or even state sponsors of terrorism. Instead of diverting U.S. revenues to such dubious purposes, the U.S. government should retain any wealth derived from the U.S. extended continental shelf for the benefit of the American people. Except this was written before we joined in 2011 so it is NOW IN FORCE!...................................................................................................................................................... This is the globalist bill designed to give away our land, oceans, adjacent land masses and Great Lakes to an international body, and makes us pay $900 million per year until 2040 & I thought we were broke? Somebody is either overextending our credit or it's a big lie! What do you think?
