Liberty or fairness!

I was looking at a picture of DNC chair Debbie Schultz the other day. She has an all new look (and I have to assume feel, since the two go together at least verbally). Once curly and a bit frantic, now she's softer, warmer, and taught, it seems to say "millionaires and billionaires" only fourteen times a minute, instead of her usual nineteen.

And so the nonsense that has become the democratic and progressive party. After almost sixty years of life, with forty of them spent as a died-in-the-wool conservative, it is the same old, worn out song we have heard for so long it seems silly. I am called a flat earther, because after reading emails sent between the world's foremost "climate scientists" ( what the hell IS a climate scientist, anyway?) saying that if anybody found out they were full of horse crap they would be diminished in authority, I realized a long time ago that global climates, like black kids accidentally shot by cop wanna-bees and red grouper, make for great victims. Without a victim, there would be no democratic party, would there? Victims and oppressors.

The oppressors are the rich. The oppressors are the oil companies. The oppressors are the banks. The oppressors are the Jew. Name them. All of history is rank with smart people like the socialists in our administration finding stupid people they can fire up. Tell them they're victims, tell them they are oppressed, tell them they are stupid and being taken advantage of, and that you are the one person that can possibly help them get even with the bastards oppressing them.

Get over it, America. Even if you assume that rich people take advantage of poor people, are you really stupid enough to think that somebody else is gonna do something for you? That they WER so philanthropic that the power they get from elected office has no impact on them? They are doing it for you? Really?

Here is an idea. You are gonna hear the president saying something a lot in the next 200 days. I do not have a crystal ball. But even without one, if I close my eyes, I can hear it now:

"Do you want to go back to the failed policies of the Bush administration?"

No. George Bush meant well. But watching him saddle up with the people from PEW - people who have successfully ended catch and release fishing in Germany and Sweden and are coming to a pond near you very soon - made me as sick as watching the POTUS leave his church of 20 years because he didn't want us knowing what church it happened to be. A church where racism and anti-Semites flourish. A church where America is seen and identified weekly as the world's oppressor? Oppressor? Yah, oppressor.

But meaning well did not make up for the damage wrought by bush. Not financial damage, mind you. That was coming the day Barney Frank said that selling bad paper was OK for the nation's banks. He had a great plan. Sell bad paper in primarily black neighborhoods and worry not; the Feds will buy it back. Bush's hammering came in the form of PEW. I do not think he was a stupid man, but letting the PEW camel stick it's filthy nose under the tent resulted in the Magnuson Stevens, and the destruction of both commercial and recreational fishing by an organization that has shown its anti-fishing agenda all over the world was either stupid or done to ganer favor wth somebody somewher. Ask Australians about PEW.

So let s assume that Obama sucks, and intends to deliver something called "social justice" to the masses. Worry not, commits. Food justice coms next. Then gray clothes and one-model-of-electric car justice. Where does fairness end and law take over? Me? I want to live in a nation based on the rule of law. Not the rule of somebody else's fairness.

I do not think it is fair that my dog needs to poop before 6am. I do not think it is fair that my wife will find the negative aspect of any subject known to man that might unwillingly pop into conversation. It isn't fair, but it makes her the best project planner and manager the world has ever met. Her attention to detail one that still, after thirty years of marriage, amazes me.

Pisses me off to no end, mind you, but amazes me. What else amazes me is that any adult that can read can watch this guy called Obama stand there with a straight face and claim a knowledge of the law.

While talking fairness. I don't want fair. I want legal. I do not want to return to the bush politics that got us here. I have an idea.

Let's return to the politics of freedom. Let's return to the politics of the constitution. Let's pick the 2000 budget and live by it. Let's elect Tea Party candidates that believe in the rule of law. And let them write a few new ones. The country lived through the year 2000 without a single computer glitch.

A balanced budget amendment
