CNN: America's Portuguese Water Dog

I am sick and tired of CNN playing political water dog to the Obama leash! Well coerced propaganda, akin to the “Little Corporal” in his rise to power without the use of a TelePrompter but at CNN it is well rehearsed statements that entitlements such as Social Security are the evils to our failing deficit and debt which, must be addressed if survival is to prevail. Problem is that Social Security are NOT A ENTITLEMENT; that is only what the Portuguese Water Dogs on the leash are barking about. Heel Boy, sit down and listen to the truth!

In a casual sense, the term "entitlement" refers to a notion or belief that one (or oneself) is deserving of some particular reward or benefit; as a legal term, entitlement carries no value judgment: it simply denotes a privilege granted.[1] With a statement such as this one, “During 2009, total benefits of $686 billion were paid out versus income (taxes and interest) of $807 billion, a $121 billion annual surplus. An estimated 156 million people paid into the program and 53 million received benefits,” how will one run out of monies? All legal taxpayers (workers) are paying a dedicated payroll tax of 12.4% of their checks, as long as they work. Working longer just puts more into the program and as some retire, it is being replaced with more, younger taxpayers, paying into the system, that will be there when they retire. That is as long as others in Congress do not double dip and subtract monies from the Social Security for their games at play. Every time a drone blows up someone to something it too blows away your social security dollars. Why are we not screaming to put back our funds into the trust, out of the general fund that LBJ, stole to support the Vietnam war! I believe the Vietnam War is over and much still forgotten but not by those who were in country! Social Security is paid for by all that ever worked, it is not an entitlement but our "Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance" (OASDI) [2]

Think about it, it I call President Obama's pet, a Portuguese Water Dog, its common name of a Portuguese Fishing Dog, it would be referred to as such, given it is pounded into your ears daily on TV shows, say from CNN! Then suddenly someone calls the dog by his real name, Bo and everybody knows that he is a Portuguese Water Dog, because it was told to you on CNN, even though the translation in Portuguese is not “WATER” but “FISHING.” If chicken Little screams loud and long enough, people will believe. CNN ought to realize that and treat it with respect rather than a tool to play tricks with your head. Many a great reporter to commentator work for this giant and must swallow what is given to them, like the medicine that Social Security is an Entitlement, but I'll bet they do not all really believe themselves in pointing out some of the propaganda shelled out to them.
